From Elizabeth Mitchell, President and CEO, Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement (NRHI)

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released its final rule implementing the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA).

The nearly 2,400-page final rule can be read in it’s entirety here. An Executive Summary can be read here.

CMS also announced a new Quality Payment Program website to explain alternative payment models under MACRA and help clinicians identify the quality measures most helpful to them.

We will be sharing more information with you as it becomes available. I encourage those of you who are interested in learning more about implementing MACRA to attend the National MACRA MIPS/APM Summit in Washington D.C. November 30- December 2. Learn more about the event on NRHI’s Events Page.
