Kentuckiana Health Collaborative Announces Launch of Health Care Website

[Louisville, KY], June 1, 2015: The Kentuckiana Health Collaborative (KHC) is pleased to announcHealthShare_logo_final_v1.2e the launch of www.gohealthshare.com.  The GoHealthShare website was designed to measure and improve the quality of health care in Kentuckiana. Making trusted information available allows the public to make informed decisions about the care they receive.

GoHealthShare is managed by the Kentuckiana Health Collaborative (KHC). The KHC, a nonprofit organization, is regionally and nationally recognized for bringing together physicians, hospitals, health plans, employers, unions, and other community organizations to collaboratively work to improve health and healthcare delivery using the Triple Aim goals of Better Health, Better Care, and Better Value.

The GoHealthShare website displays quality and location information about primary care practices, women’s health practices, and hospitals. GoHealthShare has over 100 medical practices participating; covering Jefferson, Oldham, and Bullitt counties in Kentucky, and Floyd, Clark, Harrison, and Scott counties in Indiana.

GoHealthShare is designed to support individuals in making decisions about their health care. It provides objective, trustworthy information about the quality of health care in Greater Louisville and can help all consumers make more informed decisions. Find and compare practices by name, location and certification. Discover how to find and compare hospitals in the area and learn what patients have to say about their hospital stay.

The website has been built on nearly a decade of collaboration by many dedicated healthcare experts and clinicians who represent over 60 local organizations. The participating organizations represent many different stakeholder groups within healthcare, including providers of care, employers, and public health experts—all partnering to solve difficult health-related problems in our community.
